I love being out in nature, but without a task, no matter how small, I find myself growing bored or wasting the entire day. I don't find a thrill in "get to that peak", "see this (thing)", or bragging rights.
An example is, to motivate myself to go deep in the forests and mountains, I've begun to cook with wild vegetables and mushrooms. When I run out, I'll go deep in the mountains for a few days and spend my time gathering enough for the next few weeks. It makes me happy, but I need more examples to get me out.
Does anyone else have this problem, or have some creative solutions?
