For trekking basically don't take too much weight, all your stuff including tent stuff should fit into a 50L backpack at most and be at most 10kg. If you've never done it before 99% of the stuff you want to take you won't need. This is assuming you're just doing a one night stop over anyway. Don't do anything to complex where you might "die and become a meme" for your first time. Try a comfortable temp region without extreme weather or dense jungle/forest you could get lost in. Ideally a fairly well trodden/busy trail that has a few signposts or is easy enough to see and get back to where you came from, like your pic.
