>>2003825You will get shit for this thread because somebody from /pol/ (like yourself) comes here about every week asking for advice on how to become a nomad. You are too trapped in a storm of media, propaganda and delusion to realize how difficult and implausible this lifestyle is for you. Take a break from /pol/ and ground yourself in what the world outside of your apartment is actually like.
You are not able to truly leave society and live in the woods. You will still be effected by regulation, pollution, and the draining of resources. There are few places left in the US that you could sustainably live in by roaming, hunting and gathering. We would all like to, but until the population crashes and there are more natural resources you will most likely need to have some sort of ties to society (whether working part time, trading, etc).
Unironically, you have a better chance of living happily if you work towards a homestead. Get a job, buy land, grow your own crops and livestock. Fishing, hunting and foraging are all good skills to have and use but again, unless you have lived as a frontiersman since birth, you probably cannot support yourself this way alone.
I believe that some people can live the life you claim you want, but you are not one of them. You have a 98% chance of McCandlessing yourself and rotting in your daydreams.
If you are actually going to put in the time and effort and not give up when faced with challenges, there are plenty of resources on plant identification, hunting, first aid, survival basics, etc. Research how the people that once lived on your land survived in their time. At the very least, go outside, camp, and try something. You'll see that global and national politics do not dictate your life as much as you've been told. I think that alone will calm you of whatever panic you're in and you can go back to being at peace.
