Do you guys carry a pistol when you go on hikes? My girlfriend recently complained about me bringing my Springfield hellcat with me on our hike and she threw herself saying it was excessive. I asked her what she’d do if we got approached by a mountain lion and she said she’d scare it away. Then she asked me what I would do and I told her I’d just feed her to the mountain lion since she said I couldn’t bring my gun.
