Hey /out/, don't really post here much, but recently got to thinking about recording nature sounds. I'm a bit of a poorfag, not destitute, but just don't have a lot of capital to invest in this.
What are some good options to record nature sounds, especially stuff that might be off in the distance such as wolf howls or elk bugles?
It don't have to be nature documentary worthy, just something that records the sound accurately enough for people to be able to tell what it is.
