Alright so i read some greentexts and articles online about everglades stuff, especially the pyramids.

For example, the guy in picrel claimed to find a pyramid with a screaming pit and also shot a giant wolf with a springfield.

Some experienced everglades trekkers claim to have seen the pyramids themselves.

Anyway, i'm real close to the everglades and want to go out on an /x/pedition with some outdoorsy friends of mine.

but i've only lived in florida for a year, and most of my camping/backpacking experience has been in the northeast.

so what should i know about the everglades? am i likely to die looking for these pyramids? how do i not die?

i'm gonna go on a few practice trips first, but worried we're gonna get lost in the backcountry and die.
