Im not a regular, but even I have picked up on the fact that almost anything remotely relating to the real world is instantly accused as a larp. This is not a larp.
My family has sold our house and is currently renting. We will be buying land in the countryside, probably about 20-30 acres.
We want to grow a bit of everything, fruit, veggies, nuts, herbs etc.
We will also be getting livestock, primarily chickens, goats & sheep initially.
Only animals we have experience with are chickens (5) and rabbits (10+, bred them).
We raised these with no feed in our backyard just on scraps/whatever they could find and grass respectively.
Were on top of all the regenerative stuff, no till, organic yada yada
Dad runs multiple businesses - not interested. Mums not a manual labourer but happy to do kitchen/preparation jobs. And that leaves us 4 siblings who are very passionate and ready to work (I also have a job, but work remotely).
We're not naive and know where in for a lot, not delusional, but nonetheless its happening.
Those who have experience, what would you do differently? If i walked onto my land tomorrow, where should I start? Are there any Must-Know things or your golden tips?
