>>2017223I don't really have a specific brand that I like. The important thing is the weight. Never, ever, EVER use 0.12gm BBs. They have little pockets of air in them and because of this they can shatter inside of your gun. 0.2gm is the standard and is good for indoor games. Outdoor, you want 0.25gm+ BBs because they'll be less likely to be caught by the wind.
It also depends on the FPS of your gun. Heavier BBs will move slower but tend to be more accurate for the reason I mentioned above.
That and heavier BBs will let you get past FPS limits. Kinda scummy thing to do but it's also pretty common.
Also, please for the love of God do not reuse BBs. I know it can be tempting to pick up the BBs on the floor because it's free ammo, but for the same reason to never use 0.12gm BBs, the used BBs can shatter in your gun.
I guess if I had to recommend a brand, you really can't go wrong with Elite Force. Most places carry it. The only problem is that it's grossly overpriced.
I've used all sorts of brands. Walmart brands, some premium brands, whatever, and I can't say I've ever noticed a big difference between any of them. The only time I notice something is when I change the weight.
