You do not, that is stupid, dangerous and most likely to just end up in injury. The skin will get tougher where it needs to get thougher by itself. Also, get proper footware for what you are doing.

No one has ever gone barefoot in the snow for long and kept their feet, so this shouldn't be your goal (think Valley Forge or Napoleon's Russian campaign. I guarantee those were harder men than you and they either lost their feet or died in droves). If your goal is barefoot hiking or running there are threads here for that sometimes and the answer is to just incrementally go /out/ barefoot.

just... do it. cold showers (especially in summer), go in the snow, walk barefoot in summer as the skin buildup will he like a natural shoe.

it's hard to get into but rewarding.
