So I just bought a cold steel heavy machete and they were nto joking when they said that the blade will need a lot of work. I was expecting a lot of sharpening but you actually have to make the blade yourself.

Ah well, I'm sure it will serve its purpose of clearing smallish branches off of trees. What do you guys use for random whacking tasks?
