Hello /out/! So despite the current state of world travel I have been trying to research going on a camping trip in the Scottish Highlands for the last little while and wanted to ask anyone here who's ever camped in Northern Scotland about their experiences and any tips or essential items they found vital for camping up there?

For location plan, I'm hoping to go around either Caithness and Sutherland or Skye and Raasay for a week and then down to Argyll and Kintyre for another week sometime in the early Spring or Fall so I can escape the worst times for midge season.
