>>2032577>but I kind of wished it had a sewn foot boxWhat!? No!! It's one of the best things about the FKT. It means you can open the foot hole and put your head through it and wear it like a cape!
It's crazy narrow though, if you were to go the FKT quilt route, really thinking about getting a wide, or big, or whatever sizing they offer that is the notch above what you would normally get.
>zpackshardly a small cottage company any more, nor is gossamer imo. they still make great stuff don't get me wrong.
>montbelllove their kit. it's getting easier to find it in the UK now which is awesome.
>How do you like that astralite?Yeah it's awesome, love the neck dealy, and WM is top shelf, hard not to love it.
>>2032585>kumo and joeynice options there, why would you get a V2 if you already own two light, frameless packs?
My go to pack is my MLD burn, I have a stripped down ULA CDT as a slighltly bigger volume frameless, it's basically a poor man's pa'lante. 440g, super similar volume and design. But cheaper, and no lead times. Bonus. And I've got a HMG whatevertheycallit. The smallest volume framed pack they do for longerst food carries, winter, and places that require more kit/food. Basically the burn and the HMG cover all my hiking. The CDT was my first pack and is now a sort of travel/mucking around pack.
Got a lighterpack?
