I'm quite serious when I said what I did about a lot of drugs moving in and out of the mountains of CO and CA, a lot of very, very well off folks live in those areas. They have expensive tastes drug wise and there's always people who provide it. CA used to be especially bad about it, that's one reason why they were so big on flying helicopters trying to find fields before the push for legalization. People were dying. Now of course the cartels are pushing opiates, heroin etc.
Point is, as times get worse people will be looking for opportunities, entitled women from well off families will make prime targets for rape, ransom etc. With more people getting angrier over shitty times, fewer people esp. angry bitter men will do anything when crime does happen, that's one big reason why so many people with young families are moving, kids get abducted in broad daylight, no one cares anymore. The woods are no different. Sign of the times.
