Reccomended /out/ podcasts? I listen to a lot of podcasts at work and was looking for more. Right now I'm a big fan of meateater

Meateater is my favorite podcast on the internet, I wasn't into hunting when i started listening and im still not into hunting now but I do have an appreciation for it. Rinella's humor always makes me crack up. A good portion of the episodes focus on public land rather than hunting. I also love the episodes about biology and natural history.

Dirtbag Diaries isn't bad, it's mostly personal stories from people into hiking and climbing. Some of the people try real hard to make themselves sound deep and emotional and it also reeks of Californians.

Steve is easily my favorite media personality, a lot of the stuff they talk about im interested in, (i dont hunt either but want to get into it) stuff like conservation and the legal side of hunting really gets me going but steve's personality is by far my favorite part of the show

I enjoy locations unknown, podcast usually about missing persons in american national parks but cover other unsolved mysteries/true crime like area 51, Bermuda triangle etc. I'm a n00b at /out/ so I like that they give occasional advice on hiking.

In Defense of Plants is pretty interesting if you're a biofag, I really enjoy the episodes that crossover with This Podcast Will Kill You (disease ecology podcast) to do plant poisons

I really liked Scavenger's Guide to Haute Cusine but I felt a little let down by end. I know the book was about the journey of getting the ingredients but I wanted more descriptions of the cooking and dishes served. Rinella has a really down to earth writing style and I like they way he tackles potentially pretentious subject matter with no pretensions.
8.5/10 thanks for coming to my goodreads page.

That’s a fair description. American Buffalo is extremely good. It’s about the history of the extinction of bison in America and their eventual resurgence due to modern day conservation, along with a backdrop of him finding an old Buffalo skull and hunting one
