Why do the USDA and BLM manage their land so differently? Why are USDA parks so fucking cucked while BLM lets you do whatever the fuck you want on their land?

Bureau of Land Mismanagement is there for ranchers, miners, loggers, developers, etc. Same with National Forest land, the land of many abuses
National Forests and BLM lands are some of the most trashed /out/ in the US

I have a few acres in Colorado on BLM land, most of it is just off-road jeep/hiking trails, I set up a donation box for people to use if they want to come out and have fun for the day and it pays a majority of my bills. Everyone is usually great about picking up their trash and staying the trail so I let them have free reign. BLM guys are really nice chaps never had any problems with them either.

No shooting guns at the moment unfortunately come in spring and gun all you want, a few bow hunters came through about a week ago and they had a blast. I’m planning on building a few winter huts around but it’s pretty difficult to find people to help out at such a high elevation.

BLM didn't exist until 1946 and less than 2% of all of the land they manage is east of the Mississippi River, none of which is in WV concerning above ground surfaces that can be traveled you retarded faggot.

I work for both. Here's my take

USFS is more about selling timber and operating improved campgrounds. So they have a lot of rules the BLM doesn't have

BLM leases to ranchers and that's about it. I mean both agencies allow shooting, overland travel, mining, hiking, fishing, hunting, etc.

but USFS manages the land much more tightly since they have some big money, high impact operations that BLM doesn't.
