>>2036922Don't forget a couple diffrent water filters/holders.
As you said exercise can work like insulin.
You might need almost none (very little) long acting and short acting insulin.
Most insulin pens come with a plasitc cap, but a container/case and bag will help.
As you said gel is probablly the best, get a couple of those, and a couple of the liquid glucose small bottles, with a couple of those small pocket size glucose tablet containers/packs.
I would say take a small 8oz regular soda or small ginger ale/gaterade or something simular (if you want healthier then soda.) But soda works best.
But if you run into high blood sugars, which you probably want (a bit), you'll need water.
Now, i would say for outside a sugar between 150mg and 250mg, under 300mg at highest.
But if you are exercising a lot, you at least want above 100mg. (Obviously below 70mg is low)
I use dexcom, simular to libre, but it's automatic readingsevery 10 mins 24/7. You should have Good socks/shoes. You could get nice thick, tough, warm socks, but your feet need some air and moisture, maybe put on some thin socks when you sleep.
As i said, high sugar can dehydrate you bad, and fast. So as long as you have 2/3 diffrent filters, and maybe a small metal cup/pot to collect or boil water in, you should be good.
And a couple trail mix/protien snack bars and stuff is good.
You might need some extra glucose meter batteries or some small battery pack/or small electric generator/solar panel that has a compatible plug, for your glucose meter.
For me, my dexcom lasts like a day, but i barely (not really at all) need a glucose meter with my dexcom working.
And i can use the dexcom usb cable with most usb battery packs i believe.
So if you have one of those small electric generators that works with a spinning crank, or whatever that could be good.
You can take regular needles in a ziplock bag, and some extra pen needles. You can reuse needles, and regular needles might have other survival uses.
