A friend actually does this for a living.
Everyday he drives a truck like this from the chicken plant to the dog food plant.
On occasion he drives a load to the docks and shit that we won't even use for dog food is loaded into a boat and shipped to India (unprocessed).
There's no top on these trucks so every time someone cuts him off on the freeway his asshole.puckers up.

I passed out drunk with my damp/wet steel toes on while tree planting one summer and didn’t bother trying to dry my feet out or anything the next morning. It was so painful at the end of the day, I’ll never forget that walk back to the truck. When I took my boots off my feet looked white, wrinkled, sort of swollen and with lots of blisters and chafing.

Healed by the next day but I learned the importance of taking care of your feet and that includes letting them dry out. I never understood the foot rot issues in Vietnam but now I do, I couldn’t imagine what it would have been like.

I’m 33 now and I can’t even fathom how I used to function while so profoundly hungover. We did helicopter work and I remember having dry heaves in the chopper and puking when I got out, then working 10 hours of intense physical labour. I’ve been hungover for two days straight before, even not feeling 100% by day three.

Now if I have 4-5 beers I feel it the next morning and tell myself I’m not drinking for a while kek
