Hello /out/.
This is my first time posting on this board.
I would like to know what your favorite fishing lures are, and what your favorite fish to catch is. Also can we just get a general fishing thread, since I haven't seen any on 4chan, ever.

It's a slow board, so you don't have to bump it all the time.

Personally I like to fish for pike which can take the form of a stalking hunt. They can be fished in different ways too, even fly fished.

One of my favorite lures is the one in the pic. A great and versatile lure that seldom lets me down.

Live bait is Illegal in Norway, sucks, but for Freshwater fishing i'm doing fine with some good spoon lures and spinners(orange, because that water be murky)

I think they are trying to halt the use of non native fish as bait that may escape. In Maine the rainbow smelt got loose from some bait buckets and ate all the landlocked salmon eggs. Same with yellow perch, they will wipe out the trout in an area

I fish for bass in warm water and a variety of saltwater fish. Fly Fishing for trout is by far the hardest kind of Fishing that I do. As for large funded water, dude what? It's mostly little mountain streams for brookies on a 2 weight rod for me.

I Love pike fishing.. I use all kinds lures, but my favorite lure is a rapala jointed, because it's all-round. But in the summer I like to use topwater lures such as poppers, scum frogs (only on heavy cover because of the durability) and the rapala subwalk / walk. Just caugt 5 pike on the subwalk today (not the biggest ones, but 5 is alot for my standards)

I mainly use Stumpjumpers, very versatile in that you can change the bibs on them for different depths and the fact that they are hard to lose.
Fishwise, probably Silver Perch, not a large fish but they fight damn hard for their size.

The original rapala is my go to for rivers up in the midwest. I primarily fish for bronzebacks and the rapala slays every time. My favorite way to fish it is top water twitching but you can crank it, or whatever. I've caught all kinds of other species with it too, pike, rock bass, largemouth, etc. Very versatile

Zara puppy/zara minnow as well as poppers if I'm going for artificials. I love topwater. And I love wandering to creeks with some line and a few hooks in my pocket and cutting a pole, finding bait, and sight fishing for bream, even if they're tiny. I love pools where creeks used to be in the summer; picture was landed on some 2lb test and in about a foot of water in a pool that was maybe 20x100. I'll probably see if I can find her again before the rain starts.
