My girlfriend of one year really likes the outdoors, she loves hiking and taking nature walks, she runs around barefoot outside, etc. Her family isn't as crazy for the outdoors as she is and therefore they've never been camping (she's 18).
My question is, how can I make her first camping trip really nice? I'm relatively experienced with camping (ultralight backpacking usually for me), but I've never camped with someone else, especially not a girl. Should I just go ahead and get a nice 3 person tent and a two person sleeping pad? Or two seperate things? This would also be our first time sleeping together in the same bed, lol. I want to make it really romantic, should I just drive up to a proper camping spot with facilities (not catholes) and grill her a dinner and breakfast and make it really nice?
