I've had them for about 2-3 weeks now. They're a good boot, pretty water resistant and breathable.
They offer good ankle support and flexibility, I climb up very steep cliffs with them and they work out well. The soil is often muddy or sandy (loose clay).
They lace up well and are easy to take off.
I've had two sets of redwing 4473's prior that I have been using for about a decade now before getting these boots. I will say my feet get sore pretty quickly in these boots comparatively, although the redwings have been broken in substantially. Each pair of the redwings has lasted me over 6 years each before the leather gave out.
Overall they're much lighter and more flexible. Plus they have a better tread pattern, if these last relatively as long as the redwings, then I'll be happy.
