I like math and the outdoors, so I want a careers that is outdoorsy but math-heavy. Any career ideas you guys got please?

Any of the sciences will do, you just have to angle it towards field work instead of lab work.
I'd be over the moon if I managed to land some basic shit collecting samples outside. It's not even that difficult. if you're good at math you would obviously have more options and pay since you'd know more technical shit and not just playing irl fetch quests

This but with some major caveats. Geoscience can be outdoors heavy, and it can be math heavy but honestly its seldom both at the same time. Also it's an absolute shit field to be in with shit prospects. And for anything fun you'll probably need a PhD.

Actuarial consulting, it's not an /out/ job, but you can do a few weeks traveling to on-site work with clients, then deal with the rest of your job remotely. If you're good, you will be able to crunch out work quick and live innawoods.

just get a trade.
you get paid 200k+ a year and you get like 2 months of paid leave a year.
go camping and fishing on weekends and use your time off for the bigger trips.

Ecology is more about building an understanding of natural systems and the ways that they can change. Maths only kinda comes in when creating a table of results from a survey or calculating a cost analysis/report. Biology plays a much greater role. Still, having an analytical mind helps.

Wildfire hazard reduction has a greater emphasis on mathematics.

Job is not the same as your hobby, I'm also studying Maths, since the job opportunities are good (not outdoors related obviously) and I'd be able to have some good free time outdoors. Also, in what country do you live? For example you can work for the public sector (like a park ranger for example), and you just need to do a relatively hard exam, it doesn't matter what you have studied, everyone starts at the same level.
