Any Ontarians ever go crown land camping? How did it go?
The idea appeals to me very much, but it seems that in order to really isolate yourself and get the full experience, you need to bring a canoe and do a few portages, at which point you still don't know if there will be a suitable place to set up camp (camp sites are difficult to find/make in Northern Ontario due to the rocky landscape mixed with thick forests).
Tips and experiences would be appreciated
