We had threads rating the different US states and European countries. In the later, Russia often ranks as one of the highest. Though, Russia being so massive I assume big differences in its /out/ ranking between regions.

It would be interesting to see the same concept applied to the different regions of Russia, as I am sure there is a great difference between urban areas like Moscow, the steppes, the taiga region, the Arctic region, Urals, Caucasus, Kamchatka, etc.

So anons who are experienced with the country, create and share your own ranking maps for Russia. I belive it would be more interesting to display the divisions as geographycal regions instead of political oblasts and republics, but either way extremely interesting to see your rankings.

As always, the rankings are based on: the nature of the region, population density, regulations, out activities, wilderness. As well as other details like safety, cultural heritage, infrastructures acces to nature.
