I did part of the Annapurna circuit on foot, and some other part by taking a bus. Was pretty good. I was solo but with a guide

Right now I think only Nepalis and Indians are allowed in. I could get in because I'm latter, you'll need to confirm entry requirements if you're a foreigner

Neither are particularly hard. I spent some time in Nepal pre covid, and most people doing Annapurna were not experienced hikers, and most of them completed it.

Everest base camp seems less popular than Annapurna overall, but you won't meet many people on either atm.

Also you should so some research on whether the tea houses are still open right now, because if they aren't you should wait.

coming from a Nepali, you should definately do Annapurna rather than Everest. More to see and diverse. I'd suggest to do the Annapurna circuit, if you have time, money and strenght as it is a intermediate level trek.
