>>2056055I'm unironically interested in this sort of things OP and I'd like to hear your plan and anybody else who plans to do the same. Personally I wanted to run away from the debts of my family, they lost everything and the many, many people they own money to are angry as fuck, last week I left the grocery store with 50 cents in my wallet, it's all the cash I had left until I received the new neetbucks check yesterday, I never felt more pathetic in my life.
I've been planning things out since summer and I came up with a long list of stuff I might need to survive in the wilderness especially in snowy climate because that's where I live. The thing that makes me worry the most is if something important breaks because it's obvious I will have no money to replace anything so I've been coming up with plans to prevent any worst case scenario, like losing my tent to the wind or getting robbed during the night.
The mountains near my region are large and cold as fuck, the chance of robbers wondering in too deep is very low, I thought it would be a good idea to build a few refuges here and there deep in the mountain range, then switch every few days to avoid stalling too long in the same area and getting noticed by someone.
Since I live in a shithole apartment building (6th floor) and there is only private property wherever I see, I can only practice sleeping outside using the small terrace of my kitchen and so far I seem to have figured out how cold it feels around these parts at night, I used getting in a fight with my parents as en excuse to sleep outside because they don't know I'm about to fuck off. I assume being surrounded by snow would feel a 30% colder.
The list of the things I think I will need is too long to post in a single reply, if more people are interested though I will post it, I'd definitely like to get some feedback bout it.
