Long time reader first time not giving a shitter. I come to you hat in hand comrades.

I live in Washington state, I'm a pretty avid outdoors person, I'm not one for the day hike as more trekking or free climbing. Anyway I have a date tomorrow with a fairly basic bitch who thinks a 3 hour hike makes her bear grylls.

Does anyone know of a decent day hike within 2 hours of Seattle, Rattlesnake Mountain and Poo Poo Mountain are unfortunately out.

Everyone is rightfully shitting on you which is funny but It can be difficult finding good trails sometimes so I'll give a real answer.

Big 4 ice caves is a easy, fairly well known hike with a good payout.

I think it's too early for the caves to form but there will be some glaciers and waterfalls at the end. You can make the hike harder or easier depending upon how much you want to hike/scramble over rocks (it's really easy but I've seen someone who never goes /out struggle) and if you follow the rocks/cliffs there are some more secluded areas with waterfalls.

There will be signs talking about how the glaciers/caves kill people too so it will seem dangerous/adventurous to the lady friend

Mount townsend is good, although its mostly uphill and pretty intense in that light. I think thats about 2 hours from Seattle

Little Mount Si, in North Bend. Good, short, not too steep for most of the way. Gives a nice view at the end. Stop at Twede's Diner on the way back if she's a fan of Twin Peaks.
