>>2064290I got Nadeshiko's meme lantern. Ordered it from Japan via ebay and paid way too much for it. Even a cheap electric lantern produces brighter, more practical light, but this thing can't be beaten for mood lighting. If you decide to get one, note that the gas setting is VERY sensitive on this thing; I always accidentally turn it up to flame-thrower setting when I'm first lighting it, and it's very easy to accidentally shut the gas off when you try to turn the flame down. I'm used to products with stiffer knobs.
Even though I paid way too much for it, I still think the lantern was worth it. It's a great source of light and a little heat (the glass chimney stays cool even when it's been burning for a couple hours, so you can detach the lantern from the fuel canister and store it in its plastic container without worrying about burning your fingers or melting the plastic) in an emergency, and as far as mood lighting goes, it's fantastic.
