How do y'all carry water?
I recently got a lifestraw flex for 2+ day outings and I'm pretty happy with the gravity bag it has but I want to hear other options

I carry a 2L bladder almost always, unless it’s a very short hike. Also carry a 40oz hydro flask and sometimes a nalgene.

I carry about 2L in total and have water purification tabs with me.
Gfs dad told me that he never bothered with that stuff - he brings water for the first few kilometers and drinks from whatever streams he comes across after that.

I have a sawyer mini but havent used it yet, there are usually small side streams with clean water here and random pipes of spring water on the sides of cliffs.

Lifestraws suck, they don't filter viruses. I carry 1 steel nalgene and a water blader, use tablets or boiling to purify. I also live in an area that has some sort of water source every 100 feet, so I refill there.

What's your ecosystem I'm in the rockys and as soon as you hit the mountains snow is pretty plentiful it was just a pain in the ass for me cus my water bottles are narrow mouthed and I didn't press them on my body heat
