I'm wondering if my knives pictured should be replaced for my emergency kit/kits. I have a Western cutlery knife and an Ontario USGI M9 bayonet. I want to know if I went a little overboard with the bayonet as a BOB knife as it batons wood pretty well and it is very efficient with the fire steel. The Western knife is for my trunk bag but it's more for the average camping trip not emergency knife. I feel the need to make sure I have the right tools in case an emergency would happen so I want your opinion on each.
I think I should replace the Western with a Mora firesteel. I'm kinda low on funds sc/out/s, so if you think I can get by with what I got, awesome! If I should replace either, please recommend a good knife that won't break the bank.
