Hmm I feel slightly personally attacked by this thread.
I do enjoy airbnbs (with freezers for storing ice) and having access to wifi. Sometimes I change up the route.
I would have missed these amazing waterfalls in western maryland if not for a last minute itinerary change enabled by airbnb wifi.
Also nice having a shower after a hike and a washer dryer and a real bed (though the mattresses are often shit).
Last place had a big 'ol walk in shower.
