With a brown bear all you have to do is meander away from them calmly in hopes they feel uncertain about continuing to pursue you. you can easily trigger an attack by being aggressive or running.
wolves avoid humans at all costs unless they're starving in which case they're super fucking dangerous. these situations are extremely rare (ain't gonna happen to you) but look it up on youtube and you'll hear some seriously intense stories about wolf packs.
coyotes avoid people at all costs and don't attack people. yes some canadian chick on her period got ate but a single coyote can't take you down and a pack likely doesn't have the nerve to either, but it'll never happen. i grew up in coyote territory and hear them howling like banchees every night, even when camping, and in my entire life i gotten a glimpse of a coyote less than 5 times, once i saw their eyes in the dark but otherwise never. you won't be able to get coyotes to attac so you may as well join them.
with mountain lions i've just seen experts give the same advice, if one is stalking you get the biggest weapon possible because if they attack you have no chance but to go full feral
bobkot rarely attack people as well but in almost every case they lunge for the throat and face. this is usually because they've contracted rabies. cats are pretty much perfect hunters and if you get one with madkot disease they are super dangerous
