tl;dr Get yourself mad and get yourself outside, posts on taiwanese basket weaving forums do not solve the issue.
Rant time:
I live in Britain, a nation so over-populated that we have a total land area of 12 whole fucking meters per person and the lowest forest cover in Europe, most natural land is farm fields.
Instead of making a pessimistic thread about this I am trying to do what I can to change it, I go into nature, I pick up litter when I see it, I do my best to avoid buying things which damage the nature I love so dearly, if I see somebody harming nature (littering) I say something. I'm looking to buy my own land when I've got enough money and I intend to plant trees on it.
Nature does not need another thread on some board with a niche userbase made by somebody who has resigned themselves, who is passive.
Nature needs people who are angry, people who will take action. If you see somebody littering you get in their face, you make sure people stare and that you are loud, train your body so that you have the force to back up those actions, train yourself to ignore anxiety and awkwardness. The reality is that nothing will change until people start standing up and making it very fucking clear that it is no longer going to be tolerated. If you see natural space being sold for some shitty development project you knock over the sign, you do anything you can to obstruct and challenge their attempt.
