32 days, 19 hours, 45 minutes till the lawyers close on the land. Usually id be worried the seller would back out because my budgets low and usually the shit i look at comes with hitches, but the guy wanted to go tax free so i paid a very small amount on paper and already paid the dude the rest of the real amount so i dont think hes backing out.
Gents, im so Goddamn excited. Im 21 in Canada and have been terrified about escaping the rat race since I was ten and saw a panhandler for the first time. I cant wait to work on it and not be beholden to anyone. Real estate prices in Ontario have been shit for a while, so this has been nothing short of a Godsend. 1.5 acres just for me lol.
What should i start with? Its dry, well treed land on a corner intersect. Going to live with GFs parents a few years more and save up some good cash [very low rent and good income on my part means solid savings] and really get at it. Everything's zoned fine and legally clear to build. Fencing? Security? Tiny home?
