Does /out/ know of any hikes with an actual elevation gain within a 1-2 hour drive of the Detroit metro area? Locals here think "hiking" is just walking through the woods in a park across flat terrain. As a West Coast transplant I know I'm not going to find anything like what I'm used to back home but there must be at least some fucking hills or something.
