I want to be the best /out Dad possible. My boys are 8 and 6, we have been camping and hiking a few times. They love the outdoors and enjoy watching shows like survivorman. How often should we go hiking and camping to keep them interested? What skills should I instill in them early on? Are the Scouts worth it? I was in scouts from an early age up until eagle. Any fathers out there wish they would have done something different? Or not done something? I dont want to be the Dad who drags their kids out into the wilderness and they resent him for it. How do I make it enjoyable at that age? Pls no larp responses, looking for honest replies.
