Pond maintenance (need some help)

No.2090305 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
I tried lots of things but the fucking water stays green no matter what. It doesn't help the fact that there's at least 70 goldfishes in there, and a turtle too (before you ask: no. He doesn't eat them, don't worry).

And that's pretty much the reason why a lot of plants that should eat the same stuff algae do are more often than not out of the question. All these fuckers will gnaw them before they can even grow... I tried with snails too, but they're utterly useless. Finally, I don't like resorting to chemicals (too expensive and it's a short term solution).

What do you suggest? Are there some plants that these faggots won't eat and actually work against this hellish miasma? At this point I'm almost tempted to just fill the pond with sand and place a BBQ on top of it.
