Swedish anons, how is Sweden for /out/? Anyone living on a homestead innawoods? Looking at the map of Europe, Sweden is one of the few countries in europe that has vast unpopulated forest areas...

Well its cool and all but you cant homestead 100% Even if you have zero loans you will have to pay taxes on your land. We dont really like freedom here...

I don't know what you value, personally I prefer less people. Padjelanta trail is a good alternative and takes 10-11 days.

As a sweden, it's great for /out/
But you have to go away from the big cities if you wanna be alone in the woods, because alooooot of people do day trips even more during rona, some of the more popular places will have up to 30 people around the more popular grill spots

The popular part, I think it's the northernmost one?

Looks great! I think this is more what I'm looking for, thank you for the recommendation.

I'm used to the Alps, so I don't mind a few other people being around. I'd just like to avoid the kind of mass tourism you'd find in American national parks for example.

Too cold, I think I only had annoying encounters with mosquitoes in parts of this valley and later down in the 'forest'.
