I will suggest sharpening it, moras oht of the box edges are very meh, and imho not good enough for fine work. There are certainly other options, but imo assuming youre pairing it with an axe, hatchet, or kukri, you should look for a knife with a high carbon steel blade thats 4-5.5" long, less than 8 ounces, with a 90° spine. If you are worried about rust, modern super steels can provide very similar edge retention, but a bushcrafting knife in a steel like that will not be cheap. Id look to M390,CTS-204P, CPM-20CV, CPM-3V, or CPM-4V if you want stainless, but a high carbon blade is FAR cheaper for relatively little loss
