I've been doing some research, and am considering making one of these as a replacement for a modern sleeping bag. For me it's halfway between the durability and charm offered by one of those types of setups. I'm planning on getting a canvas tarp and a cheaper wool blanket to set one up, and experiment on what works from there. Any suggestions?
