Having scissors to cut leuko is a nice luxury. The rest of the tools I use on gear, ie tightening the sunglasses screws, opening battery compartments, getting sand out if my reel, ect ect
Theres a weird atmosphere around multi tools. Most are far too heavy in both construction and tools for most /out/stuff , but remain popular with the bushcraft/surplus crowd. Then you've got the folks who cant fathom adding a 2oz keychain tool to a pack 'because multitool'.
Personally a fix>replace attitude coupled with the enjoyment of conquering functional fixedness means I pretty much always take one.
