>>210278>>210093>Almost died trying to hike up one of the mountains off the trail.Every time man, every time. Last Fall me and some buddies were going up the slope directly opposite Turkey Path when it started storming. It was rough, but we found a deer trail and thought it was our savior. It circled around a much, much steeper drop, and as we were turning this vertical corner the trail started to collapse from the rain and we were scrambling up this muddy mountain face grabbing onto roots and shoving our forearms in the mud. That went on for an hour and a half before we got to the top, dropped packs and passed out.
Also across from Turkey Path is a large creek running down the mountain with at least a dozen extremely badass waterfalls hidden back there. The creek lets out into Pine Creek right next to some massive cabin that looks like it hasn't been used in years. You can wade out from the biker trail on the Turkey Path side to the cabin, and follow the creek behind it up into the mountains, and you'll see some really awesome limestone cliffs and waterfalls. It can be difficult and a bit dangerous navigating them at times but totally worth it.
