>>2108667Here's what a general lux backpack looks like these days. I'm not shilling this stuff because I own most of it, I own most of it because its literally the best on the market (1-2 years ago). Check out lighterpacks for insane low base weight packs on /r/ultralight. The two big shops in the UL scene are hyperlite mountain gear and zpacks.. You can't go that wrong with either of them but I've known people with HMG shelters and none of them were ever very thrilled with them.
- Pack: zpacks arc blast (for comfort, 55L for short winter) or HMG windrider (for durability) or a custom zimmerbuilt for style
- sleeping bag: a 0 degree sleeping bag from zpacks or enlightened equipment
- pad: if you're not on the snow a neo air xlite small pad (or if you care more about comfort a full size one)
- tent: zpacks duplex is probably what you want so you can keep your pack inside during rain (or get some pussy). Hexamid solo for max light weight or altaplex, both tried and true UL tents good in the rain with bugnets for summer.
- trekking poles (I recommend not carbon fiber, corq handles, and external locking mechanisms (not twisty ones)
Clothes:
- jacket Patagonia hooded puffy in your size
- the lightest fleece vest you can find
- merino wool leggings and long sleeve top (black so they dry in the sun fast)
- the lightest beanie you can find
- zpack vertice rain jacket (for 0C you don't necessarily need vertice pants too, but I probably would want them on hand)
- stretchy pants (I enjoy kühl)
- two pairs of underwear
- two pairs of socks
