No snuggly fitting sport clothing, that stuff is made to be unobstructive and breathable, but it won't protect you from accidentally cutting yourself. For trousers, get something like cargo pants. I'd personally use something like G3 trousers with integrated knee guards. Get shoes that protect your legs from cuts and support them.
