You'll have to build it yourself. You have two good options;

satellite. get the Russians to launch it into space for you.

radio astronomy. You will need to place dishes all over the fucking place. This is why you see all those "we buy ugly houses" signs - need somewhere to put the dishes.

Oh, *or* you could just rent time on an existing platform. Doubtless there are grants for amateur astronomers you could apply for. Usually a fair amount of bureaucratic process involved in actually getting time on the bike telescopes though.

Idk about telescopes for night sky viewing, but I'm a birder and I use swarovski scopes. I've used them to get some awesome night sky shots as well, but I imagine there are other brands / types of scopes more specialized for that than mine

i have a tasco one like this, my great aunt gave it to me in my late teens before i started travelling- it's been around the world twice over with me and is a great big of kit!

Swarovski would be a good brand name to start with. But you'll get more aperture for the buck in a reflector and I doubt they make one.

An apochromatic Newtonian by Meade would not suck, something over 115mm aperture.

Should start at only about $3K.

Start with some binoculars (if you don't already have them) -- they're a lot easier to use, and you can see so much with, especially in dark sky locations.

Celestron and Meade both make budget entry level telescopes -- 6" or 8" diameter Newtonian reflectors or Schmidt-Cassegrain scopes.
