Had a dream where john denver and my brother were standing around me and I was sitting down playing guitar. John denver says “come on, play something like rocky mountain high or ____ indian”. I started playing and he kept getting the beat wrong. Woke up, searched up “john denver indian song” and sure as shit found it. I’ve never heard of it anywhere. For some reason it resonates with me.

I’ve recently started praying for my family and believing in the lord, though I’m not vocal about it. The first instance I had was a total shot for shot scene in my dream from “vikings”. Second instance was of my dad climbing out of the balcony and feeling my heart drop. Only ever had that happen once when I had to defend my mom from a burglar when I was 16.

Idk some john denver songs are giga corny and larpy. Some are good, but he's a mixed bag. Im a bluegrass/old time/country guy. That said, I like peter paul and mary, if you're looking for more folky stuff.

I was ready to defend you and call the other guy a fag but this is the gayest thing I've read all month.
I think people should be able to just breathe and listen but there's also nothing wrong with whistling, humming, or singing a tune while you walk along. There's a lot of middle ground between being a person fixated on discipline to the point of deprivation and a person with restless zoomer syndrome (I say like millenials are significantly better). Generally, listening to music in nature outside social events is pretty dumb. Even then, it should generally be on private property unless your circumstances allow for extreme distance between other people. That's just being considerate; same thing applies to whitling etc. in public. By the same token, you owe it to yourself to know when to shut the fuck up and take things in. Your brain will thank you. "I can't stand it" is a product of not trying and not disciplining yourself at all. I know it seems insignificant,, but you're probably setting yourself up to let others pass you by in all facets of life.
