anyway, he was shopping and noticed a big group of people out in the parking lot
they were all surrounding a deer with a broken leg, making a huge racket and obviously suffering, cop on the scene wouldn't shoot it because he had to wait for animal control
he just whipped out his handgun and put the thing down
cop didn't care, but the one of the onlookers started yelling at him about how it could have been rehabilitated, as if animal control wouldn't have done the same thing when they got there, just with a pneumatic captive bolt gun instead of a handgun
people don't understand that not every animal can be save (or even should be saved)
death is a part of life, oftentimes that means we humans do the killing
a good hunter or trapper will try to do it as quick and painless as possible
