Anyway. Knock yourself out my dude. (Not mentioning meindl and hanwag).
>https://www.trabert-schuhe.de/About the highest quality in german boots.
>https://www.vitalinus.de/Sells tons of stuff, not sure about the quality of their house brand.
>https://reck-schuhe.de/ Bit below trabert, still very good. Ask them directly, or come down to swabia to their factory shop.
>https://www.steinkogler-bergschuh.at/Probably similar, makes austrian memes among many others.

>http://www.geigerschuhe.de/ Makes semi-bespoke shoes, gotta go down there and have your measurements taken though. Fits very well, leather can be chosen.
>https://www.franken-cie.com/Schuhe-Herren-Kollektion.htm?websale8=franken-cie&ci=12-3853Probably overpriced.
https://www.rufflander.co.uk/product-category/heritage-footwear/Simple, solid, bit too rough IMO. Also doesn't fit my high arches, rather disappointing.
The biggest problems with these shoes is not the outer leather (unless you walk through thorns and rubble repeatedly), not the sole (easily replaced) but the lining. If it rubs off, you have to have a replacement glued in. How soon that will happen and how well it can be done depends on the lining material and fit, which is really impossible to say without testing. Generally speaking, military boots will have stronger lining there. Fashion boots and ironically mountain boots are weaker, especially the ones with foam padding inbetween outer and lining. Some few (william lennon, bertl, m77 come to mind) aren't lined at all which is probably best.
