I'm trying to find a good thru hike in New England, preferably around a week long.
I found a fair amount of potential hikes, but the problem is, after looking on each's website, literally every hike has
>No camping except in designated areas (of which there are very few)
>No fires allowed
>No straying off the path
>etc
These rules are extremely homosexual, and I feel like they would ruin my experience.
Do people actually follow these rules or do they just fuck off and do whatever they want?
