Going out on the kayak in East Texas this evening.
Love these tasty bastards.
Any tips? I've done kinda well with Roadrunner Jigs, and minnows.

Not everywhere is going to have fish. Look up local areas with good reputations.
And yeah if you want mostly perch and such. A hook, line, bober and rod will work fine.
But, if you want to be more specific in what your trying to catch, Then you have to be more specific with your tackle.
