Backpacking like around a country? If you’re not getting laid most nights, you’re not trying.
I worked as a guide a few years. We’d suggest going out to pick up backpackers like you’d suggest picking up some beers. Very rarely failed. Like if someone has a 5 consecutive day fail, it would be the end of the world. One guy went 3 weeks once, you wouldn’t believe the shit he got.

Actually a couple I would have stayed with but one was Irish, a Canadian, a German all couldn’t stay, and one had to go some place to do some medical degree you can’t get here.
Unfortunately none of us do social media, and any time I broke up, I’d do the full burn on communication to avoid those drunk calls. You know the one. I’d delete numbers and entire email accounts ha ha ruthless. Some fun memories though. And some cringe ones, but fuck it, it’s not like I ever had to see them again. Actually thinking about it, I’d probably do the same again. Have zero bs tolerance. As soon as I had a complaint about not meeting each other’s families or whatever, my response would be “hey look... we’ve broken up.”
Bit of an asshole actually, but fuck that, 1 person’s company at a time is heaps enough. And it was always dinner is lunch and I HATE people eating around me. Holy shit, issues much ha ha
